Loire Cycling IV: Blois to Amboise (2011-09-15)
Photos from our third day of cycling from Blois to Amboise. We stopped for lunch at Chaumont-sur-Loire. After ariving in Blois and checking in to Hotel le Blason where we were staying, we visited the Château du Clos Lucé, former residence of Leonardo da Vinci. The castle includes a museum about his life and works, together with models of his machines and inventions in the gardens.
