Later in the day, we later visited the National Museum of Scotland, learning more about how bad the English had been to the Scottish.</summary>

We then had a quick look in some of the craft shops in the grounds of the Hall. Melbourne gave its name to title Viscount Melbourne (whose holders were once resident at Melbourne Hall). The more famous Melbourne, Australia was named after second viscount in 1837.</summary>

After a quick drink at the Derwent Hotel, we climbed up through Crich Carr to Crich, and took the path through the woods back to the canal and Ambergate.</summary>
