Chippinghurst and Cuddesdon Walk (21-03-2009)
Photographs from a walk from Cowley via Garsington to Chippinghurst Manor and on to Cuddesdon before returning via Garsinton again. I had intended to walk to Little Milton, but was foiled by the lack of bridges across the river. At Chippinghurst Manor, a Restricted Byway crosses the river, there there is only a 'ford' (not that it's suitable for anything short of a tank) and no foot bridge. Lower down, my map showed a footpath crossing the river with the crossing marked as 'stepping stones' but there was no such way to get across, and again no bridge.
