Melbourne (27/08/07)
After the trip to Breedon, we travelled by car to the town of Melbourne. There we had a stroll along by the pool, and had lunch in the tea rooms. We then had a quick look in some of the craft shops in the grounds of the Hall. Melbourne gave its name to the title Viscount Melbourne (whose holders were once resident at Melbourne Hall). The more famous Melbourne, Australia was named after second viscount in 1837.
