Usk Valley Walk (26-04-07)
A circular walk with Tewkesbury Walking Club, starting from the Clytha Estate National Trust car park in Monmouthshire, Wales. We climbed the hill to Clytha Castle, and continued to the earthworks at the Coed y Bwynydd Camp iron-age fort for coffee. We continued through woods filled with bluebells and then on to the church at Bettws Newydd, before passing through Alice Springs Golf Club to the Chainbridge Inn for lunch. We then followed the River Usk north, before skirting round the Clytha Estate and returning to the car park.
